About
I am an English painter and textile artist living and practicing my craft in Manhattan, New York. My artistic journey began as a child and was formalized with studies at the University for the Creative Arts in Maidstone, Kent, where I graduated with Distinction. Subsequently, I continued to refine my skills at the Bridgeview School of Fine Art in Long Island City, New York and The Art Students’ League, New York City. I am currently offering private sewing tuition to individuals and small groups in the Manhattan area.
My passion for art is deeply rooted in the works of French and Russian master painters. I find joy in honing my skills by recreating some of their most iconic and expressive masterpieces. The romantic and timeless themes prevalent in their works, especially those depicting natural scenes, landscapes with atmospheric skies, and beautiful trees, serve as a constant inspiration for me. Additionally, I have a fondness for portraiture, where I strive to capture the intricate expressions and the delicate gaze in the eyes of my subjects.
